FAQs
What exactly is online co-working?
Online co-working is a focused, structured hour where people work alongside each other online. Everyone joins with their own task (like writing a blog post, planning a campaign, or drafting a grant), and we quietly work together—with brief check-ins before and after. It’s accountability without the pressure.
Do I have to stay for the whole session?
Not at all. While I encourage you to stay for the full 60 minutes to get the most from it, you’re welcome to join late or leave early. It’s a flexible space!
Is it really free? What’s the catch?
Yes—completely free. These sessions are a way to build a supportive community and connect with fellow freelancers, founders, and changemakers. If you ever want more tailored support, I’ll mention that at the end (briefly and optionally).
Do I need to turn my camera on?
Nope. Cameras are totally optional. Some people like the extra accountability of being visible, others prefer staying in cosy mode. You do you!
Will I be expected to talk or contribute?
You do not have to talk or contribute. At the beginning, we do a quick round of intentions (e.g. “I’m working on my social posts for next week”). You can share via the chat or speak out loud, whatever feels best for you. At the end, there’s also an optional check-in and Q&A—but there’s pressure to share if you’d rather just listen.
What kind of work should I bring?
Bring anything related to your business growth—marketing tasks, content creation, proposals, planning, grant or bid applications – whatever you’ve been meaning to tackle but keep putting off. This is your focused hour to move it forward.
Who are these sessions for?
